Hello November!
November is already here and pretty soon Thanksgiving will be, too. Educators can plan units and activities to teach their students about the history of the Thanksgiving holiday. Students can have fun making Thanksgiving arts and crafts and playing games both inside and outside the classroom. The following are a few good websites to explore:

Eric-
I am from St. Louis, I just moved here in May, so I know exactly what you mean about the weather change. That's what I miss most about my hometown, the definite change of seasons. It makes me kind of sad to know that I won't see the leaves turn beautiful reds, oranges, and golds in the fall or see snow in the winter anymore. I used to love November because not only is my birthday on the 11th, but I love Thanksgiving. However, it probably won't be the same anymore. The weather won't be chilly and I won't be able to look out my window and see colorful leaves everywhere. Do you miss experiencing each of the seasons now that you live in Florida?
